As a Professional Leadership and Sales Trainer, I help organisations develop their Leadership skills to manage their Teams more effectively and develop the core skills of their employees.
When I started my career in Learning and Development almost 30 years ago, at what was Yellow Pages (Yell) , we had 3,000 people and a very large, successful training department. This very much helped hone my skills, especially when I was part of the team that entered and subsequently won 'European Company of the Year'.
My last role before becoming a freelancer was as a Global Training Manager for Reed Business, part of Reed Elsevier. Which had approximately 10,000 and 40,000 employees, respectively. The reason I mention this is that I was exposed to the very best Learning and Development, through external and internal providers.
Since 2007, I have been delivering Management, Sales, and Team Development Training on behalf of myself or as an Associate trainer, working on behalf of other Training and HR Organisations. I have worked extensively throughout the UK, Europe, the USA, and the Middle East. This involves the entire training cycle, from Training Needs Analysis and Training Design through to Training Delivery and Evaluation.
I am also accredited to use a number of profiling tools, including SOCIAL STYLE, Myers-Briggs (MBTI Step II and MBTI Step I), Belbin, Adaptive Mindset, Behavioural EQ, SDI, CPQ, WorkSmart, and am also qualified by the CIPD.
My key specialties are Leadership Development, Management Skills Training, Communication Skills, Sales and Key Account Training, Coaching Skills Training, Negotiation and Presentation Skills Training, and a wide range of other soft skills and technical programmes.
